“Off” disables automatic speech entirely — replies stay text-only. Asking “read the reply” still speaks.
Reopens the mic and sends automatically after each reply.
If it keeps asking for access
Set Microphone to Allow for this site — Safari: aA → Website Settings; a home-screen app: Settings → Apps.
Short beeps when recording starts and stops.
Text size
Pinch-zoom also works anywhere.
Stays on while the app is open.
Replies
Claude answers briefly, without preamble — but still explains fully when a short answer would be wrong.
Shows a card with the diff under any reply that edited files — free, and nothing is said aloud.
Claude describes its plan first and waits for “go ahead” before it edits or runs anything.
Voice
Tap to preview. One voice for the whole app, on every device.
Notifications
Notifies you when a reply is ready while you're away from the app — tap it to open that chat.
On iPhone
Add the app to your Home Screen first and open it from there — Safari tabs get no push on iOS. Nothing banners while the app is on screen; the reply dot and the chime already cover that.
Alerts you in this browser when a reply is ready, even while you're looking at another tab or window.
Connectors
Lets replies reach connected services such as your calendar or mail.
A reply that can reach a connected service says what it intends to do and waits for “go ahead”.
Adding one
Each project lists its own connected services and, for each, exactly which tools it may use. A tool that isn’t named isn’t offered, and anything that writes (send, delete, create) needs that service to be explicitly allowed to write. Say “list the connectors” to hear what’s live.

Provider key
This key’s shape fits more than one provider above — pick the right one.
Pasting a key selects its provider automatically; pick it by hand any time. Say "provider settings" to jump here.
While it works
“stop stop” ends and sends what you said; “start start” restarts your message.
Lets you switch chat or cancel by voice while a task runs.
A soft tick every 2½ minutes during a long task — never over your voice or a reply.
Speak while it's working and it picks up your words at the next step, instead of you cancelling and starting over.
Wake words
Say “wake word off” or “wake word on” to flip it.

What you can say
Voice commands
Everything you can say hands-free without waking Claude — recognised instantly on-device. Words in blue are examples you swap for your own.
Repository access —
Per project — reading is on by default, changing is off.

Labels
What this does
Each exchange gets one to three subject labels automatically, at no extra cost. Nothing moves or is copied — tapping a label shows everything on that subject, across every chat. Labels you set by hand are never overwritten.

Diagnostics
Task timeout (minutes)
Say “set the timeout to seven minutes” to change it hands-free.
What it shows
A per-reply timing breakdown — speech-to-text, routing, model, tools, voice — to see where the seconds go. Off by default.
Buttons
How mapping works
Tap “Map”, then press that button two or three times — the app learns every shape of swipe it sees. Capture ends a couple of seconds after your last press. Then pick what it should do from the menu below it; you can change that any time.
On, a mapped ring press runs its command; off, only the raw signal is logged.
Off uses a double press, or wheel down, to cancel instead.
Master switch only — say “arm lock screen recording” each time you want it live.
Also needed
The lock-screen media player must also be on, in Developer Area.
Why these two exist
A ring press reaches the page as a real touch — “don’t touch the screen” hides it from the interface entirely. And since this remote's buttons can't be told apart, “every button the same” means any press starts a recording and the next sends it; the wheel still scrolls and scrolls down still discards a take.
Diagnostics — raw signals & media-key probe
Press any button on the remote to see the raw signal it sends (newest first):
(press a button on the remote…)
Plays a silent track so this app becomes the system's Now Playing target, then listens for play/pause/track/seek. Press every button while it runs — matches appear above.
Read the repository
Answered directly from the repository, free and unchanged. Say “git status”, “recent commits”, or “any pull requests”.
Change the repository
Runs as a normal turn in the chat you're in, so you can steer it. Say “commit this”, “push it”, or “open a pull request”.

Running jobs
What is queued or running right now, plus any failure you haven't dealt with yet. A finished reply is already in its own chat; running a failure again or dismissing it happens on its issue.
Issues
Your working list — say "add issue …", "remove issue N", or "what are my issues".
Custom commands
Your own spoken commands. Pick what it should do, then speak or type the phrase that triggers it — the fast router will recognise it.
Project instructions
Standing instructions forthis project— how to greet you, how to think, how long answers should be. Claude follows them in every chat of this project, on every device. You can also just say it out loud (“from now on always…”) and it saves itself.
Leave it empty for Claude's normal behaviour. Saving replaces the whole text and takes effect on your next message.

Diagnostics
Bisect switch for issue #187 — OFF disables every part of the ring pipeline that can act while locked or backgrounded. Doesn't by itself prove the fix; check the probe log.
Mute all sounds
Mutes every sound the app makes, on every device, until unmuted — same as saying "mute everything".
Moved from ordinary Settings — likely a removal candidate.
Lock screen media player
OFF by default — no lock-screen player card or Control Center controls. Also enables the Bluetooth remote's double-click action, which needs this same system hook.
